  • 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea A complete redesign of Jules Verne's Classic. Designed for the adult who wishes to revisit their favorite childhood book in a fresh new context. The 480 pages include 49 illustrations, 2 letters, end notes, and side notes that clarify some of the cultural aspects from the original french version and take full advantage of the print medium. The 8x8 format is reminiscent of illustrated children's books. The illustrations focus on the darker tones of the story while the water color washes set the tone for the underwater adventure. The typography and titles were inspired by the artistic printing movement of the 1800's visually supporting both the story's setting and the flow of water. Three signed limited editions cased in by hand with Italian book cloth.

Best in show, 2010 Book Builders West Design Competition.

  • Hello Poster Show: L & F For better or worse we have lost our childhood growing up, an innocence we'll never have again. I wanted this print to reflect a child like care-free atmosphere but from a "grown up's" perspective. An 18x24 one-color screen-print for the curated Lost and Found edition of the Hello Poster Show.

All proceeds from the show went to the local non-profit, Youth in Focus, an after-school program that uses intensive photography training as a tool to help disadvantaged teens develop personal voice, positive identity, social and artistic skills.

  • Beach House, Sasquatch 2011 An 18x24 screen-print for Beach House at the 2011, 10th anniversary, Sasquatch Music Festival. Two-color, silver and purple, printed on #110 black paper. I wanted to capture the complexity of Beach House's music which is seemingly simple but reveals an atmospheric depth; space was a perfect metaphor.

Signed, stamped and numbered edition of 100.

  • Desktop Wallpaper Project I was asked to create a wallpaper for the Fox is Black's desktop wallpaper project. This was part of the Sights and Sounds series featuring Modest Mouse. Each designer was tasked with creating a wallpaper for a specific album. This background was for their album "The Moon and Antarctica". I interpreted lyrics from their single "The Stars Are Projectors" and I wanted to try to capture the erie nostalgic feeling of the album as a whole. All of the wallpapers are available for download here.
